Event Support Coordinator Location: Burgess Hill (Hybrid – 2 days in office per week) Pay Rate: £12.82 – £15.38 PAYE or £17.00 – £20.50 Umbrella Contract Length: 9 months Hours: 37.5 About the Role: As an Event Support Coordinator, you will assist in organising a variety of internal and external events, ranging from intimate gatherings to large-scale exhibitions. Your efforts will directly contribute to enhancing customer experiences and supporting our ambitious business goals. Key Responsibilities: Event Planning: Respond to and manage internal and external event requests. Assist with venue sourcing, booking, and coordination, including site visits. Collaborate with vendors and suppliers for timely service delivery. Design customer-facing materials, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines. Track event budgets, raise POs, and manage payments. Support on-site event and delegate management. Conduct risk assessments and ensure health and safety compliance. Assist with post-event activities, including evaluations and feedback compilation.Event Communications: Set up and design registration forms and event websites using Cvent. Collaborate with Marketing to craft and distribute event communications. Manage post-event communication, including feedback surveys.Team Support: Maintain and update event databases and contact lists. Keep internal documents and trackers current and accessible. Respond to queries in the shared events inbox. Provide administrative support to the events team, including scheduling meetings and taking minutes.What We\’re Looking For: Essential: Individual seeking an entry-level position with a passion for event planning. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to multitask and thrive under pressure. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Enthusiastic, proactive, and capable of working independently and collaboratively.Desirable: Experience using Google Suite.Core Attributes: Communication: Listen well and value input from others.
