EUC Engineer (Architect)
GBP47,000 per annum + Permanent Benefits
Flexible working – 2x a week on-site (Northern Ireland)
A leading university are looking to recruit an EUC Engineer with expertise in either JAMF Pro, OR Intune, OR SCCM, and MS Defender, PowerShell, deploying laptops, desktops and mobiles, and potentially application packaging.
You will:
- Lead development and enhancement of end-user compute services for staff and students.
- Supervise project-based technical teams and provide expert guidance.
- Monitor, maintain, and improve managed desktop and mobile device services.
- Design, test, and implement new and upgraded services, including process creation and training.
- Coordinate evaluations of new technologies for integration into University systems.
- Manage service performance, deployment methods, and device security reporting.
- Maintain and develop endpoint management, security, and VDI platforms.
- Research and promote desktop tools and deployment technologies.
- Automate processes using Scripting languages like PowerShell.
- Provide technical consultancy and support to central and faculty ICT teams.
