Location: Rochford (Must be able to drive due to site location)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm

Shifts: 8 hours per day

Breaks: 2 x 30-minute breaks

Pay Rate: 16.30 per hour (basic), 24.45 per hour (overtime, x1.5)

Job Purpose: We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to carry out maintenance and repair work on port-based equipment, including terminal tractors and trailers. The role is focused on ensuring all machinery is safe, fully functional, and compliant with health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on terminal tractors and trailers
  • Carry out welding and fabrication tasks as required
  • Fit, replace, and maintain wheels, tyres, and associated components
  • Manage spare parts stock, including ordering and inventory control
  • Maintain clean, organised, and safe working environments
  • Adhere strictly to all health and safety procedures
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify faults and prevent breakdowns
  • Accurately complete maintenance records and documentation
  • Support general maintenance duties across the site as required
