Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Manufacture sheet metal components to fine tolerances (e.g., +/- 0.1mm).
  • Operate fabrication equipment, including:
    • Press brake
    • Guillotine
    • Rollers
    • Punching machines
  • Perform precise measurements and inspections with tools like verniers and micrometers.
  • Carry out various welding processes, primarily TIG and MIG welding.
  • Ensure all welds meet quality and structural standards.
  • Conduct finishing processes, including grinding, deburring, and polishing.
  • Work with a variety of materials, such as stainless steel, aluminium, and mild steel.
  • Maintain a clean, safe working environment in line with health and safety regulations.
