HR & Payroll Coordinator

Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm - Fully office based

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and employment documentation.
  • Coordinate all stages of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding and offboarding.
  • Support high-volume recruitment campaigns across multiple locations.
  • Review and improve HR processes and procedures.
  • Input payroll information including hours, overtime, and bonus data.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems, ensuring GDPR compliance.
  • Coordinate employee training and e-learning programmes.
  • Support employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, attendance, and performance processes.
  • Provide first-line HR advice and guidance to managers and employees.
  • Assist with employee engagement initiatives and internal communications.
  • Support health and safety administration and compliance activities.

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of

2 years' experience in a generalist HR role .

  • Strong understanding of HR processes and employment law principles.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when managing employee records and data.
  • Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally.
  • Highly organised with excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Able to work independently and manage a varied workload.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Full UK driving licence preferred for occasional site visits.
