12-Month Fixed Term Contract Fully Office Based | 8:00am - 5:00pm | £27,000 - £30,000
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Office & Accounts Administrator to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a varied role supporting accounts, office administration, fleet management, site operations and the Director.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounts
- Processing supplier and client invoices
- Credit control and chasing payments
- Timesheet administration
- Expenses, bank reconciliations and statement checks
- CIS administration and VAT support
- Monitoring invoice queries and producing reports
- Office Administration
- Managing holiday and sickness records
- Organising staff training
- Scheduling meetings and sending invites
- Completing client pre-qualification questionnaires (PQQs)
- Fleet & Operations
- Coordinating vehicle hires, servicing, MOTs and repairs
- Managing fleet compliance, insurance and toll accounts
- Raising purchase orders and arranging plant movements
- Booking hotels, parking and supporting site logistics
- Sourcing labour and coordinating equipment repairs
- Executive Support
- Diary management and meeting coordination
- Travel and accommodation bookings
- Minute taking and general business administration
About You
- Previous administration experience, ideally with accounts responsibilities
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confident communicator with a proactive approach
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience with Xero or similar accounting software is advantageous
