Responsibilities:
- Provide support and coaching to managers on employee relations, ensuring consistent and policy-driven advice.
- Assist in consultation and implementation processes for organisational change, making HR recommendations.
- Collaborate with the HR Manager to develop and enhance HR policies and procedures across the organisation.
- Design and deliver HR training programmes to empower managers and staff in effective people management.
- Prepare documentation to support managers in managing their teams effectively.
- Provide guidance on managing both short and long-term employee absences, maintaining robust monitoring systems.
- Update and maintain absence management records, producing insightful monthly reports for senior management.
- Advise on family-friendly policies, helping managers and employees navigate their rights and entitlements.
- Prioritise and manage a variety of HR queries efficiently.
- Maintain an up-to-date log of HR cases and provide timely status updates to management.
- Process and prepare HR data reports to agreed standards.
- Ensure proper maintenance of electronic documentation and filing systems.
- Undertake adhoc projects as requested, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain the e-learning system, addressing queries alongside the Training Department.
- Prepare and issue contracts of employment in compliance with regulations.
