We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Environmental Data Analyst to join our high-profile energy client's Environment Team on an initial 6-month contract. This role is critical in supporting regulatory reporting and environmental performance tracking with a strong focus on data cleansing and integrity.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Environment Manager, you will be responsible for managing, analysing, and cleansing large sets of environmental and sustainability data. A key focus will be the identification and removal of legacy or redundant assets within the system, ensuring the data is clean, current, and fit for purpose. This role will be 3 days per week in the Bristol office to allow for close collaboration, system shadowing, and support from technical experts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleanse and manage environmental datasets, removing obsolete assets and correcting inconsistencies
  • Support monthly and annual environmental reporting (e.g. KPIs, Environment Agency)
  • Assist in compiling data for Business Carbon Footprint, PCBs, FFCs, and Science-Based Targets
  • Collaborate with teams across the business to collect, validate and present data
  • Help develop new tools and maintain reporting templates and dashboards
