Adecco are delighted to be recruiting for an Entry Level Sales Position for their client based in Newbury!
Core Responsibilities
- Process approved quotations into confirmed sales orders, ensuring accurate entry and communication through CRM/ERP systems.
- Cold calling to develop new business and to promote products and services.
- Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, and logistics teams to confirm stock availability and meet delivery deadlines.
- Prepare and issue professional quotations, proposals, and tender submissions in line with customer specifications.
- Manage customer communications - providing order confirmations, status updates, and proactive notifications of any changes, such as backorders or returns.
- Handle multi-line and partial orders, tracking outstanding items through to completion.
- Serve as the first point of contact for customer enquiries received by phone, email, or website.
- Arrange pre-shipment activities such as product configuration, pre-testing, or value-added services.
- Support external and field sales teams with research, customer follow-ups, and quotation preparation.
- Manage all commercial documentation, including NDAs, contracts, quotations, and order records, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain precise and up-to-date records for orders, pricing, customers, and products within ERP/CRM systems.
