  • Monday to Thursday: 8:30am – 5:00pm
  • Friday: 8:30am – 3:45pm

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Production Planner to join a busy operations team. This role is key to ensuring customer orders are fulfilled efficiently and on time, while balancing production capacity, materials, and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements
  • Ensure on-time delivery of manufactured components
  • Identify and resolve production flow constraints through sustainable solutions
  • Develop and implement capacity and production plans
  • Work collaboratively with Engineering, Operations, Purchasing, Sales and Finance teams
  • Maintain and improve ERP system accuracy and resolve system-related issues
  • Support supply and demand planning, including engineering changes
  • Lead or contribute to continuous improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies
  • Produce and report on daily production metrics
  • Facilitate daily production meetings

Skills and Experience

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving ability
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Solid understanding of production planning principles, including scheduling, capacity planning and shop floor control
  • Experience with ERP systems (Infor Syteline desirable but not essential)
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
