We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established precision engineering company based in Medway, who are looking to add an experienced CNC Programmer/Machinist to their growing team. This is a varied and hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys working on a wide range of bespoke components in a busy manufacturing environment.

The Role

As a CNC Programmer/Machinist, you will be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC machinery to produce high-quality, precision-engineered components from customer drawings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Programming, setting and operating CNC machines
  • Producing components to exact drawing specifications and tolerances
  • Carrying out in-process and final inspection of parts
  • Performing multiple tool changes and machine adjustments per shift
  • Deburring and finishing components as required
  • Working to production targets while maintaining quality standards
  • Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
  • Collaborating within a small, hands-on team

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience in CNC programming and machining
