A Local Authority based in South West London is looking for a detail-oriented and organised CAFM Assistant to support an important data improvement project within our Facilities Management team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative and data management skills who enjoys working with databases, spreadsheets and data validation activities.

As a CAFM Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of the Concerto Core Site Data Cleanse Project, helping to improve the accuracy, consistency and reliability of property and facilities management data across the organisation.

About the Role

Working closely with the CAFM Manager and wider CAFM Team, you will:

  • Review, validate and update site, block and room information within the Concerto CAFM system.
  • Analyse, compare and reconcile data using Microsoft Excel and other Council systems.
  • Identify and resolve data inconsistencies, duplication and inaccuracies.
  • Support the validation of condition survey, asset and asbestos management data.
  • Perform data cleansing and quality assurance checks to maintain high data standards.
  • Maintain accurate project records and audit trails.
  • Liaise with colleagues and stakeholders to resolve data queries.
  • Provide administrative and project support to the CAFM Team as required.
About You

We are looking for someone who has:

Essential
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, including sorting, filtering, comparing and validating data.
  • Experience working with data, records or information management systems.
  • An understanding of data quality, validation and record accuracy.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate work.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of database systems and maintaining accurate records.
  • Understanding of data protection, confidentiality and information governance requirements.
  • Awareness of CAFM, property, asset management or facilities management systems.
  • Experience in an administrative, project support or data-focused environment.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • A good standard of secondary education.
