Our client, a dynamic organisation in the housing sector, is seeking a strategic and proactive People Partner to deliver a comprehensive generalist people service. This role is integral in creating and implementing data-driven people solutions that foster a high-performance culture and empower both managers and employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a full generalist people service, leveraging influential relationships to coach and challenge managers to achieve outcomes aligned with legislation and best practises.
- Manage the delivery of people initiatives and cyclical work, including pay awards and engagement surveys, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
- Collaborate with Strategic People Business Partners on workforce planning, succession and talent management, supporting leaders in resourcing efforts.
- Coach and develop managers in effective people practises, enabling them to deliver excellent services to customers.
- Support leaders in navigating the performance management cycle, ensuring continuous feedback and effective reviews to reflect the capabilities of colleagues.
- Reduce employee relations casework by coaching leaders in managing attendance issues, disciplinaries, grievances, and appeals, while promoting learning from each case.
- Lead and support business change initiatives to enhance efficiency and value for money, managing reorganisations and restructures as needed.
- Utilise data analysis to identify trends and themes, problem-solve, and create effective solutions in collaboration with People Business Partnering colleagues.
- Drive policy, procedure, and process improvements to ensure excellent service delivery to customers.
- Champion the organisation's values and culture, embedding them across all levels.
- Maintain continuous professional development and a strong external network to foster innovation and improvement.
Key Requirements:
- Experience working across a highly regulated environment with the ability to link business wide challenges to the people strategy.
- CIPD Level 5 qualified or working towards qualification.
- Demonstrable experience in handling performance management, flexible working and employee relations cases.
- Strong understanding of employment legislation and the ability to apply it practically to mitigate risks.
- Proven coaching and advisory skills, coupled with influencing techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and organisational abilities.
- Proficient in collecting, analysing, and interpreting people data.
- Ability to operate independently, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Resilience and composure under pressure, with sound decision-making skills.
- High level of drive, motivation, and energy, with a proactive approach.
