Hourly Rate: £18.96 per hour
Working Pattern: Full Time, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday
End Date: February 2027
Our client is seeking a dynamic and passionate Employability and Skills Mentor to make a significant impact in the lives of young people and adults in the South Gloucestershire community. This is an exciting opportunity to support individuals in their journey towards employment, career development, and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a vital link between clients and specialist services, aiding in overcoming barriers to employment.
- Support clients pre-employment and in-work by identifying opportunities and pathways tailored to their needs.
- Conduct initial diagnostics to develop personal action plans that align with clients' career aspirations.
- Maintain engagement with clients, providing necessary support to ensure progression and success.
- Accurately upload information to the CRM system to track contacts, progression, and outcomes against KPIs.
- Collaborate closely with the Skills Team to deliver essential employability programmes, including Future Bright and Work4You.
- Foster strong relationships with schools, colleges, and training providers to enhance the skills of local learners.
