Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced CNC Setter / Operator / Programmer to join our manufacturing team. You will be responsible for setting, operating and programming CNC lathes to produce high-quality precision components while maintaining safety, quality and production targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate and programme CNC lathes, including twin spindle and bar-fed machines.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Carry out tooling changes, offsets and machine adjustments.
- Inspect components using micrometers, Verniers, gauges and other measuring equipment.
- Complete quality checks and maintain production records.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and support continuous improvement activities.
- Work closely with production and quality teams to meet customer requirements.
- Adhere to all health, safety and quality procedures.
