This position offers the opportunity to influence business direction, shape technology investment decisions and lead the evolution of a critical digital platform supporting users across multiple European markets. Key Responsibilities
- Define and deliver the organisation's technology strategy and roadmap.
- Own the overall technology architecture and ensure scalability, resilience and security across all systems.
- Act as the primary technology advisor to the CEO and executive leadership team.
- Review and evaluate the existing technology landscape, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimisation.
- Manage and challenge external technology vendors, delivery partners and managed service providers.
- Lead supplier governance, contract reviews, service performance management and technology procurement activities.
- Assess the effectiveness of current outsourced technology functions and make recommendations regarding future operating models.
- Oversee technology budgets, investment decisions and vendor spend.
- Provide strategic oversight of the organisation's Dynamics 365 CE environment and wider business systems.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience operating as a Technology Director, Head of Technology, CTO or similar senior technology leadership role.
- Strong background in technology strategy, architecture and digital transformation.
- Significant experience managing external technology vendors and outsourced delivery partners.
- Demonstrated experience owning technology budgets, contracts and investment decisions.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to challenge suppliers and ensure value for money.
- Experience operating in fast-paced, entrepreneurial or growth-focused environments.
- Ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership and non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies, modern digital platforms and enterprise applications.
