Location: Winfrith, Dorset (HQ)

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: £13.33 per hour

Working Pattern: Part-Time 18.5 hours per week

End Date: June 2027

Are you ready to make a difference in public service? Our client is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Clothing & Equipment Officer to join their team in Dorset. If you have a passion for supporting uniform and equipment provision and want to contribute to an organisation that values integrity and service, this role is for you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Uniform & Equipment Management: Receive and distribute uniforms and body armour efficiently across three Administrative Hubs in Dorset. Liaise with Purchasing Officers to ensure accurate and timely ordering of uniforms and personal issue equipment.
  • Fitting Coordination: Measure staff and arrange fitting days for large groups, ensuring everyone is appropriately equipped. Work with external service providers to solve fitting issues, ensuring officers receive the correct sizes without additional costs.
  • Communication & Reporting: Send weekly reports to external suppliers on officers changing locations, ensuring smooth transitions. Attend the Clothing and Equipment User Group to provide insights and support discussions.
  • Problem Solving: Assist officers with medical-related uniform adjustments, exploring alternatives when necessary.
