About the Role:

As the Director of IT and Technology, you will be the architect and owner of the IT landscape, responsible for steering technology strategy in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. You will play a pivotal role in driving digital transformation, enhancing infrastructure, and safeguarding information security. Your leadership will be essential in ensuring seamless integration during acquisitions and transitions, making sure the business thrives with minimal disruption.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a forward-thinking IT strategy that drives business growth and transformation.
  • Oversee all IT operations, including infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, support services, and enterprise architecture.
  • Lead strategic initiatives during acquisition activities, ensuring smooth systems integration and transition.
  • Champion a robust cybersecurity strategy that aligns with ISO27001 compliance and proactive threat detection.
  • Establish and maintain effective disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  • Optimise IT performance through service delivery improvements and effective budget management.
  • Drive digital transformation and promote the adoption of emerging technologies that deliver value.
  • Manage IT governance, risk, and compliance frameworks across infrastructure, data, and applications.
  • Collaborate with executive and business leaders to align technology initiatives with strategic priorities.
  • Lead vendor selection processes, contract negotiations, and relationship management.
  • Ensure cost efficiency in software deployment and utilisation, maximising value.
  • Recruit, retain, and develop a high-performing IT team that embodies excellence.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven IT leadership experience in a senior or director-level role, ideally within a digital/creative/media/agency setting.
  • Expertise in IT architecture design, infrastructure management, computer hardware, software installation, and audio-visual technology.
  • Demonstrated success in managing IT through business changes, including acquisition integrations.
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms and modern enterprise applications.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Enterprise software and network designs.
  • In-depth knowledge of Information Security best practices and ISO27001.
  • Exceptional leadership, organisational, and communication skills, with a knack for collaborating with remote, global, and cross-functional teams.
