Working closely with project, production, and commissioning teams, you'll develop practical engineering solutions that meet customer requirements while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance. This is a varied position that offers genuine involvement from initial design through to installation and project completion. Produce electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings for power distribution and control systems Develop bespoke engineering solutions to meet project and customer requirements Create and maintain accurate design documentation using AutoCAD, EPLAN, or similar software Support the development of innovative and cost-effective engineering solutions Project Delivery Collaborate with project engineers and production teams to ensure designs are practical and manufacturable Provide technical support throughout manufacturing, installation, and commissioning activities Assist with resolving technical challenges during project delivery Quality & Compliance Maintain high levels of accuracy and quality across all engineering documentation Support adherence to company quality and health & safety procedures Contribute to design reviews and technical discussions Identify opportunities to improve performance, efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness Support upgrade and retrofit projects where required HNC/HND, Degree, or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering Experience in electrical design within power distribution, electrical manufacturing, control systems, automation, or a related engineering environment Ability to produce and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings Experience using AutoCAD, EPLAN, or similar electrical design software Knowledge of relevant electrical engineering standards and best practice A proactive and detail-focused approach to engineering Power distribution or electrical infrastructure projects Control systems or automation environments Panel design or electrical manufacturing experience Protection, monitoring, or control equipment knowledge Experience supporting installation and commissioning activities If you're looking for a role that offers technical variety, exciting projects, and the opportunity to develop your career within a growing engineering organisation, we'd love to hear from you.
