A leading distributor within their field is seeking a Dispatch Administrator to join their dynamic warehouse team in Wigan. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of a busy distribution centre.
As a Dispatch Administrator, you will be based at the dispatch desk within the warehouse, overseeing daily operations and supporting the team to ensure efficient order processing and shipment.
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £27,000 per annum
Expected Hours: 39 per week (early finish on a Friday!)
Key Responsibilities:
- Allocate orders to warehouse team
- Use the in-house system to resolve picking and packing issues
- Maintain strong system control and report adjustments accurately
- Manage courier and customer communication via various portals
- Coordinate with other departments to streamline operations
- Oversee 3 party portals for inbound and outbound activity
- Maintain and update warehouse KPI reports
- Monitor shipment status and address any delays or issues
- Support management with additional tasks as required
