Monday - Friday: 8am - 4pm
We are proud to be exclusively partnering with an ambitious and growing company in the surrounding areas of Maidstone, in their search for a Designer who specialises in creating detailed layouts and specifications for residential interior projects, with a strong emphasis on practical workflow and storage solutions.
Our successful, growing client has a rare opening in one of their Design divisions to work on several contracts that they have recently won. They are eager to add a driven and focused Designer to their team, who will quickly be able to demonstrate their experience of working on large projects under pressure.
The successful candidate will be able to show a portfolio that highlights their exposure to designing solutions for private residences that need to consider plumbing, electrical and ventilation in a confined area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilise design software to create appealing designs
- Keep updated with the latest trends
- Work to a strict budget and deadline (e.g. Considering material costs, styles, availability, etc.)
- Work closely with Developers and the Sales Team to ensure design stays on track and in budget
- Provide any ongoing design support during the installation process
The Successful Candidate Will Have:
- Previous experience within culinary (or similar) design
- Experience using Compusoft Winner or Auto CAD
- Ability to remain focused while working on multiple projects simultaneously
- Be able to work creatively to tight deadlines
- Have a portfolio of recent creative designs that they are able to talk through
