Description

About the Role:

Join a specifically created team, with responsibility for inputting s106 legal agreements into a bespoke planning database. S106 agreements are legally binding documents between the council and a developer, which secure financial obligations for both parties. Alongside data preparation and data entry, the post holder will identify whether obligations, both financial and non financial have been met.

Duties:

>Ensuring data is fully reviewed, accurate and prepared for inputting, including changing file sizes, identifying and redacting confidential information (GDPR standards); using specific IT software.

>Learn a new system of software, (training will be provided by online videos and regular check in\’s)

>Be confident with numbers and English to be able to understand legal jargon in agreements

>Identifying all relevant planning applications for the site (ie its history) and identifying which are related to each other, which have been superseded, expired, refused planning permission. Training will be given.

>Keeping accurate and up to date detailed records of each piece of data inputted. Filing documents digitally, requiring excellent attention to detail skills to ensure meticulous record keeping.

Experience:

>Confident working with data sets in various formats, you\’ll be able to demonstrate an awareness of data management and identifying issues and abnormalities

>Confident in learning new ways of working with databases and bespoke monitoring IT systems

>Experience in analysing, interpreting and then inputting data.
