Adecco are recruiting on behalf of the BD Group for a Plasterer - Multi Trade.
Location: Barking & Dagenham
Pay: £21.70 per hour PAYE
Contract: Temporary or Fixed-Term Contract
Hours: Monday-Friday, 36 hours per week (7am-3pm or 8am-4pm)
Full UK Manual Driving Licence Required. Council van + fuel card provided.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Plasterer with Multi-Trade skills to join the BD Group's Repairs & Maintenance team. You will work across tenanted and void properties, carrying out high-quality plastering and associated repair works while ensuring a first-time fix wherever possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out plastering repairs including skimming, boarding, patch repairs and rendering.
- Support wider multi-trade activities including basic carpentry, painting, tiling, or maintenance tasks.
- Respond to emergency repairs across residential properties.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents, ensuring minimal disruption.
- Maintain accurate job records using PDA/job management systems.
- Ensure all work meets health and safety and housing compliance standards.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Plasterer in domestic or social housing settings.
- Knowledge of additional trades (multi-trade).
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality repairs.
