Responsible for providing excellent customer service by managing enquiries, quotations, and orders from initial request through to delivery. Ensures customer requirements are understood, recorded accurately, and fulfilled efficiently. Acts as a key link between customers and internal teams to support smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact for customer enquiries via phone and email
  • Provide clear and accurate information on products, pricing, availability, and delivery updates
  • Build positive relationships with customers
  • Handle complaints professionally and elevate where needed
  • Process and manage customer orders accurately in company systems
  • Review orders and quotations to ensure they are clear and achievable
  • Check pricing, delivery timelines, and customer requirements before confirming orders
  • Monitor active orders and keep customers informed of progress or delays
  • Work with internal teams (e.g. production, logistics, sales, accounts) to ensure timely delivery
  • Raise purchase orders and follow up with suppliers when required
  • Identify and flag potential risks relating to delivery, quality, or capacity
  • Support sales activities, including preparing and following up on quotations
