Key Responsibilities

Electrical Compliance & Maintenance

• Maintain 100% electrical compliance across the housing stock.
• Ensure all electrical repairs and remedial works are raised, completed on time, and delivered to a high standard, including effective post-inspections.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with statutory health and safety requirements, including correct execution, testing, and record keeping.
• Manage contracts in compliance with CDM Regulations.

Contract & Service Management

• Provide specialist electrical and maintenance advice to colleagues when required.
• Work collaboratively across the Directorate to promote best practice and improve service delivery.
• Manage contractor performance and ensure maintenance services meet contractual obligations and customer expectations.
• Support the planning, monitoring, and management of maintenance budgets, identifying opportunities to achieve value for money.
• Monitor contractor performance against KPIs and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Oversee outstanding work orders, ensuring they are completed within agreed timescales and resolving customer enquiries effectively.
• Carry out stock validation surveys as required.

Customer, Community & Building Safety

• Promote equality, diversity, and inclusion while supporting the needs of local communities.
• Act as the emergency out-of-hours contact on a rota basis when required.
• Work closely with internal teams to resolve customer issues and deliver joined-up services.
• Attend resident engagement meetings and respond to customer concerns where appropriate.
• Support and contribute to the Building Safety agenda, ensuring compliance and resident safety remain a priority. xgikmsk
