Our client, a thriving school in Bolton, is seeking a motivated and organised individual to join their team as a Cover/Educational Visits & Events Coordinator. Position Overview: As the Cover/Educational Visits & Events Co-ordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of the school by coordinating teaching cover, planning educational visits, and organising events. Key Responsibilities: Cover Coordination: – Maintain the daily cover rota for teaching staff, ensuring effective resource deployment. – Collaborate with the HR Manager regarding staff absences and manage supply needs. – Produce weekly cover statistics and manage room changes as required. Educational Visits Planning: – Liaise with trip proposers to ensure compliance with safeguarding and risk assessments. – Book transport and venues, ensuring all necessary documentation is prepared. – Monitor planning via the online system. Event organisation: – Plan and coordinate whole school events such as Presentation Evenings and Sports Days. – Attend events to ensure their smooth execution. – Maintain the school calendar and support extracurricular activities. What We\’re Looking For: Qualifications: – Minimum GCSE English and Maths (Grade C). – Willingness to undertake further training. Experience: – Proven experience in a role requiring detailed organisation and planning. – Understanding of educational visits and event coordination. – Background in office environments with a focus on customer service. Skills: – Excellent ICT skills (Microsoft Office). – Strong time management and organisational abilities. – Effective communication and interpersonal skills. – Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. Working Hours: Term-time + 2 weeks Monday to Thursday: 7.30 AM – 4.00 PM Friday: 7.30 AM – 12.30 PM Salary: £27,269 – £29,093 (pro-rated for term-time working).
