We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Co-Ordinator to join Cheshire Police at Runcorn Town Hall to work as a Contribution Co-Ordinator. This is a temporary ongoing position working Monday to Friday 37 hours a week.
Purpose of this role: To scale up the successful Cheshire Contribution pilot projects that have revitalized green open spaces across the county, providing a practical invitation for people seeking asylum to visibly contribute to the communities they are temporarily calling home and for those communities to see that contribution first-hand. The pilots, delivered in partnership with local residents, have received strong public support and demonstrated the value of collaborative, high-impact improvements to outdoor environments. The postholder will lead the countywide rollout of these initiatives, co-ordinating events and convening relevant partners and audiences to develop social cohesion, meaningful change and foster community engagement through volunteering and co-design.
Role Accountabilities:
- Coordinate the Cheshire Contribution ensuring an efficient process is in place, including on-site management to ensure successful completion of tasks on the day of events.
- Create an operational guide including checklists, safety protocols, risk assessments inductions and ensure all necessary equipment to complete the tasks is available.
- Undertake the planning, delivery and co-ordination of events.
