Join Our Team as a Material Resource Planning Controller (MRPC)! Are you ready to take on a challenging yet rewarding role in the manufacturing industry? Our client is seeking 2 enthusiastic Material Resource Planning Controllers (MRPC) to join their dynamic team in Lincoln on a fixed-term contract for 18 months. Position Details:
- Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract
- Contract Length: 1 x 12 months (rolling), 1 x 18 months
- Working Hours: Full Time (37 hours per week)
- Hourly Rate: £18.00 - £24.00 PAYE/£24- £32 UMB
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to demand changes by providing insights to the Team Leader/Purchasing Manager regarding customer requirements in alignment with the company's Commitment Acceptance process.
- Maintain both Master and Dynamic component planning data to ensure effective demand cascade throughout the supply chain.
- Strategically plan and manage stock levels across the supply chain to ensure timely and appropriate use.
- Ensure supplier delivery commitments are accurately reflected in SAP and manage adherence to schedules.
- Collaborate with suppliers to coordinate improvement activities in planning, control, inventory, and delivery.
- Conduct business reviews with suppliers, assessing their performance and its impact on quality, cost, and delivery.
- Manage delivery issues by reporting shortages and coordinating recovery programs.
What You Bring:
- Experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, or Logistics with a solid understanding of production planning and controls.
- Knowledge of quality systems, inventory control, and IT systems.
- Excellent communication skills, with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
- Proven ability to work effectively in teams, demonstrating commitment to continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems will be an advantage.
