Compliance Surveillance Analyst
Contract Type: Temporary (9 months)
Working Pattern: Full Time, hybrid, working 3 days in the office Monday - Friday 40 hrs per week
Location: Belfast
Pay per day: £145 umbrella
Responsibilities
- Assist in reviewing and analyzing surveillance alerts related to firm, employee, and client trading activities.
- Document review and disposition of exceptions while escalating matters appropriately.
- Gather and analyze trade data to support responses to inquiries from governmental and regulatory bodies.
- Communicate surveillance findings to management clearly and concisely.
- Collaborate with internal partners, including Assurance, Internal Audit, and Legal.
- Handle hotline inquiries and perform data entry as needed.
- Assess risk with every business decision to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Qualifications
- Previous relevant experience in compliance or risk management.
- Some knowledge of compliance laws, rules, regulations, risks, and typologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self‑starter attitude with flexibility to adapt to changing situations.
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Bachelor's degree required; an advanced degree preferred.
