What You'll Be Doing:

In this hands-on role, you'll be part of a dedicated transport team working to improve accessibility across our community. You'll help ensure that individuals can rely on safe, efficient, and well-managed transportation services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage daily schedules for volunteer and paid drivers while ensuring compliance with transport regulations.
  • Coordinate the deployment of our minibus fleet to meet diverse community needs.
  • Monitor fleet maintenance schedules and uphold legal standards for Community Transport.
  • Organise MiDAS training and refresher courses for volunteer drivers.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with volunteer drivers to ensure engagement and cooperation.
  • Handle enquiries from the public and healthcare professionals via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Oversee vital administrative duties including tracking licences, MOTs, and tax renewals for volunteer drivers.
