What You'll Be Doing:
In this hands-on role, you'll be part of a dedicated transport team working to improve accessibility across our community. You'll help ensure that individuals can rely on safe, efficient, and well-managed transportation services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and manage daily schedules for volunteer and paid drivers while ensuring compliance with transport regulations.
- Coordinate the deployment of our minibus fleet to meet diverse community needs.
- Monitor fleet maintenance schedules and uphold legal standards for Community Transport.
- Organise MiDAS training and refresher courses for volunteer drivers.
- Cultivate strong relationships with volunteer drivers to ensure engagement and cooperation.
- Handle enquiries from the public and healthcare professionals via phone, email, and in-person.
- Oversee vital administrative duties including tracking licences, MOTs, and tax renewals for volunteer drivers.
