Job Title: Community Support Worker
Location: Croydon, CR0 1EA
Hourly rate Β£17.04 PAYE / Β£22.42 Umbrella per hour
Contract Length: 3-month contract (possibility of extension)
Working Pattern: Full Time, Monday β Friday, 36 hours, 9am-4pm x4 days, 9am -5pm x1 day

As a Community Support Worker in our Active Lives service, you'll play a vital role in supporting residents with disabilities to achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives. You'll work directly with individuals, their families, and the wider community to deliver person-centred support that promotes independence, wellbeing, and inclusion.
?? What You'll Do
- Provide 1:1 and group support in community settings
- Develop and implement person-centred plans and risk assessments
- Work closely with families, carers, and professionals
- Promote dignity, choice, and independence
- Use IT systems to record outcomes and maintain high-quality documentation
- Support with personal care and use of mechanical aids when needed

- NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards it)
- Experience supporting people with disabilities, including those with complex needs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
- A commitment to equality, safeguarding, and community-led support
