Community Safety Enforcement Officer Rate: £15.63 per hour Duration: 3-6 months Hours: Full-time We\’re recruiting for an experienced Community Safety Enforcement Officer to take on a varied and hands-on enforcement role within a local authority. Key Responsibilities Include: Investigating and enforcing against environmental crime such as fly-tipping, noise complaints, dog fouling, littering, and abandoned vehicles. Providing a uniformed patrol presence to deter anti-social behaviour and reassure the public. Issuing Fixed Penalty Notices where appropriate. Gathering evidence, conducting interviews under PACE, and preparing prosecution files. Supporting community initiatives in collaboration with enforcement teams and partner agencies. Engaging with residents and encouraging community reporting of issues. Requirements: Previous experience in an enforcement or regulatory role is essential. A valid UK driving licence is required, along with flexibility to travel across the district as part of the role. Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
