This is more than a fundraising role. It\’s a chance to connect hearts, build partnerships, and grow a vital community giving programme from £310,000 to £650,000 over the next three years.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementing and developing donor acquisition and retention strategies across the local area.
- Identifying external networks that will support and grow funding capabilities.
- Lead outreach efforts to engage new local community partners and be the key point of contact for organisations.
- Identifying and securing community grants and funding from local appeals.
- Plan and deliver engaging stewardship events for key audiences.
- Oversee and attend bucket collections and charity stalls at public and private events.
- Analysing the effectiveness of fundraising initiatives to ensure targets are met.
- Providing exceptional stewardship to supporters.
What we are looking for:
We are looking for a friendly and confident professional with:
- Experience in community fundraising or corporate partnerships.
- Demonstrable track record meeting fundraising income targets, supporter acquisition and retention.
- A proven track record of managing community groups and long-term partnerships.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop influential partnerships both internally and externally.
- Previous experience of event management is preferred but not essential.
- A confident speaker with excellent presentation skills.
- A valid UK driving licence is essential, as you will travel across the catchment area to meet supporters and attend events.
