About the Role
We are seeking an experienced External Communications Associate to support strategic communication efforts across EMEA. This role involves developing compelling narratives, managing media relations, shaping reputation, and executing communications campaigns that spotlight entertainment, creators, and product stories. You will be responsible for drafting high-quality communications materials, managing editorial inquiries, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and supporting PR initiatives across regional and local markets. This position requires strong strategic comms experience, exceptional writing skills, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams with minimal guidance.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft and refine external communications including press releases, blog posts, pitches, FAQs, announcements, briefing materials, and marketing copy.
- Manage editorial inquiries, synthesize information, and prepare timely, accurate responses.
- Develop and execute creative PR campaigns to increase awareness, engagement, and understanding of entertainment and creator-focused initiatives across EMEA.
- Partner with in‑country PR teams to land compelling stories and amplify creator-focused narratives in consumer and lifestyle media.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Partnerships, Product, Marketing, and leadership in EMEA and the US to influence strategy and support major launches.
- Create EMEA-specific communications materials that demonstrate creativity and highlight standout content and creators.
- Track campaign performance, analyse feedback, and provide insights to refine communication strategies.
- Act as a spokesperson for designated business areas, engaging with media as required.
- Support agency partners by driving workstreams, providing content, and aligning on strategic objectives.
- Design presentations, visuals, and communication assets for marketing and PR events.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in strategic communications, media relations, and external stakeholder management.
- Proven ability to draft high-quality narratives, messaging, and press materials.
- Understanding of the entertainment, creator, and digital content ecosystem across EMEA.
- Ability to manage crisis communications and support executive communications.
- Skilled in information synthesis, business acumen, and identifying industry and cultural trends.
- Highly agile communicator with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Experience briefing spokespeople and preparing teams for interviews or public appearances.
- Familiarity working with creators, entertainment PR, or consumer-facing storytelling is a plus.
