Week 2: Mon 11.30-4pm, Tue 11.30-4pm, Wed 11.30-4pm, Thurs 11.45-4pm, Fri 11.45-4pm

Are you a friendly and organised individual with a passion for providing excellent customer service? If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for you! Our client North Wales Police are seeking a Receptionist to join their team on a temporary basis.

What You'll Do:

  • Greeting and signing in visitors, issuing passes, and notifying relevant staff of their arrival.
  • Managing front and back door security while monitoring visitor access.
  • Assisting the public with inquiries or directing them to the appropriate department.
  • Handling incoming and outgoing mail efficiently, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Performing various administrative tasks to support the effective running of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sign in visitors and contractors, checking ID and vetting status as necessary.
  • Control access to the fob system, issuing and cancelling fobs as required.
  • Maintain a tidy reception area and conference rooms, reporting any issues to the Facilities Helpdesk.
  • Assist with conference room bookings and provide guidance on equipment usage.
  • Keep track of keys, fobs, and visitor records, ensuring all are returned at the end of the day.

What We're Looking For:

  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Administration or relevant experience.
  • Intermediate knowledge of IT and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organisational abilities and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • A friendly demeanour and the capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
