Join Our Team as a Collection/Driver! Are you a detail-oriented individual with a knack for driving? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working to deadlines? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! Our client, a leading multinational organisation specialising in business services and digital printing solutions, is looking for a dedicated Collection/Driver to join their team on a temporary basis in Mitcheldean.

Contract Details:

  • Contract Type: Temporary
  • Contract Length: asap - end of April 25
  • Working Pattern: Full Time (Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 4 PM)
  • Driving Required: Yes (A full UK driving licence is essential)

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong IT skills to navigate relevant systems.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • The ability to prioritise tasks effectively and meet SLA deadlines.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • A full UK driving licence for manual vehicles and be over 25 years old due to insurance requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collecting and securely packing all items available for collection into labelled cardboard boxes, then transporting them to the Xerox Scan Centre for scanning.
  • Visiting all scheduled collection areas daily to ensure timely pickups.
  • Accurately checking in collected records using a barcode scanner within 4 hours of arrival at the scan centre.
  • Reporting any issues or discrepancies to your Line Manager for resolution.
  • Completing mandatory training, including Xerox Business Ethics and Information Security, to uphold high service standards.
  • Providing absence cover for other team members when necessary.
  • Performing any additional duties as required within your role.
  • There will also be a requirement to travel to Preston and back 3 times a month.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • IT literacy.
  • A clean driving licence.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control of your own work.
  • Understanding of service responsibilities and SLAs related to the preparation and scanning of records.
  • Ability to manage heavy manual handling tasks effectively.
  • Good face-to-face communication skills.
