We are currently recruiting for an Assembly Assistant to join a busy warehouse team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and is looking for immediate employment.
The Role
As an Assembly Assistant, you will be responsible for assembling a variety of wooden furniture products, including cupboards, doors, and other furniture components. You may also be required to support warehouse operations when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assembling small and large wooden furniture parts
- Fitting components to cupboards, doors, and furniture units, i.e. hinges and door handles
- Using basic hand tools safely and effectively
- Checking finished products for quality and accuracy
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
Candidate Requirements
- Previous assembly, manufacturing, warehouse, or production experience is beneficial but not essential
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Physically fit and comfortable handling furniture components
