Location: Accommodation Sites

Hours: 8:30-5:30pm - 40 hours per week - Monday-Friday

Pay Rate: £13.50 - £14ph + Holiday, Pension, Adecco Benefits

Duration: Summer months July, Aug, Sept - Temporary Cover

Role Overview

We are currently recruiting for reliable and hardworking Painters to support maintenance and refurbishment works across accommodation sites in Colchester. This role involves internal painting of residential buildings, focusing on communal areas such as stairwells and hallways.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out painting and decorating tasks across accommodation buildings
  • Prepare surfaces including cleaning, sanding, and priming where required
  • Paint stairwells, hallways, and communal areas to a high standard
  • Work safely at height using appropriate equipment
  • Ensure all work is completed efficiently and meets quality standards
  • Maintain a clean and tidy work environment at all times
  • Follow all health and safety procedures on site

Requirements

  • Previous painting experience preferred
  • Comfortable working at height
  • Good attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional
  • Must have own safety boots
