Our client, a well-established global manufacturing company, is recruiting for Operatives to join them on a temporary basis for a period of around 6 months. Working hours are 8.00am-4.00pm Monday-Thursday and 8.00am-1.00pm each Friday.
Duties:
- Supporting operators with daily tasks and processes
- Reviewing and following job order paperwork
- Cutting rubber to specified lengths
- Weighing materials accurately
- Labelling products and preparing them for storage
- Storing items correctly on designated shelves
- Maintaining a clean and organised storage area at all times
- Ensuring rubber materials, shelves, and storage boxes are kept clean and tidy
- Updating and maintaining a spreadsheet with rubber stock and weights
Experience/Requirements:
- Previous manufacturing or production experience required
- Computer literate with basic IT skills
- Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently
- Positive, proactive attitude with a strong work ethic
