Temporary roles for approximately 6 months

Adecco is delighted to be recruiting for a number of Shift Operators for a global manufacturing employer based in Cockermouth. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing team with excellent rates of pay.

Shift Pattern (Alternating Weekly):

  • Monday - Thursday:
    • Mornings: 6am - 2pm
    • Afternoons: 2pm - 10pm
    • Nights: 10pm - 6am
  • Friday:
    • Mornings: 6am - 11am
    • Afternoons: 11am - 4pm
    • Nights: 4pm - 9pm

Duties Include:

  • Supporting operators with daily tasks and processes
  • Reviewing and following job order paperwork
  • Cutting rubber to specified lengths
  • Accurately weighing materials
  • Labelling and preparing products for storage
  • Storing items correctly on designated shelves
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work area
  • Keeping materials, shelves, and storage boxes clean and tidy
  • Updating spreadsheets with stock and weight information

Experience & Requirements:

  • Previous manufacturing or production experience desirable
  • Basic IT and computer skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
