Our client, a prominent and growing manufacturer, is on the lookout for an experienced CNC Team Leader to oversee a dynamic production area within their modern manufacturing facility in South Yorkshire. The Role: As the CNC Team Leader, you will be at the helm of a production team, ensuring seamless operations and achieving operational targets while upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading, motivating, and developing a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Conducting daily start-up meetings to communicate production priorities effectively
- Monitoring productivity, quality, and safety performance against established targets
- Ensuring staffing levels and skillsets align with operational requirements
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives utilising Lean Manufacturing principles
- Maintaining compliance with health, safety, and environmental procedures
- Supporting quality standards, audits, and process controls
- Managing production schedules to ensure targets are met
