About the Role:

As a CNC Setter/Operator, you will be at the forefront of producing precision-engineered products. Your responsibilities will include setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines while ensuring high-quality standards are met. This role also provides an excellent opportunity for you to learn and operate additional manufacturing equipment, with full training provided!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines to produce components to required specifications.
  • Collaborate closely with the Production Supervisor to meet daily and weekly output targets.
  • Conduct quality checks using measuring tools (micrometers, verniers, gauges) to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Make minor program adjustments on the machine as needed (training available for deeper programming skills).
  • Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety procedures.
  • Record production data and report any machine issues, quality concerns, or potential improvements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing process.
  • Assist with the setup and operation of other workshop machines, following training.
