The Role
This is a CNC Setter/Operator position focused on setting, operating and proving out existing CNC programmes. You will be responsible for producing precision-engineered components to tight tolerances, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety and efficiency are maintained. Please note that this is not a CNC programming role. However, candidates with programming knowledge or experience will be at an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting and operating CNC Turning or CNC Milling machines
- Proving out and running existing CNC programmes
- Making minor programme edits, tooling changes and offset adjustments where required
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
- Manufacturing precision components to tight tolerances
- Conducting in-process inspections using a range of measuring equipment
