Contract Details: Temporary (6 months)

Shifts: 6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm, 10pm - 6am rotating shift pattern

Salary: From Β£16.50 per hour

Responsibilities: As a CNC Machinist, you will:

  • Set up and operate CNC machines
  • Organize and use machine related tools, and equipment relevant in production
  • Plan and lay out work, prepare components or semi-products and monitor related hand-stock
  • Process the components or semi-products/products according to engineering specifications and quality standards
  • Perform basic machine-related programming, if required
  • Perform basic or specifically defined maintenance operations
  • Cooperate with maintenance technicians and/or external service providers in repair issues

Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

  • Proven experience in CNC machining
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings and specifications
  • Proficiency in using measuring tools and quality inspection methods
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

  • Experience with Fanuc or Siemens controls
  • Knowledge of programming CNC machines
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with ISO quality standards
