Part-Time Merchandiser

Hours: 15 hours per week - Thursday and Friday 9am - 5pm - 30-minute unpaid lunch break

Temporary: 4-6-week duration

Location: Clacton-on-Sea and Frinton-on-Sea

Car driver essential due to travel between retailer sites

We are currently looking to appoint a Part-Time Merchandiser to support our retail client across Clacton-on-Sea and Frinton-on-Sea. This role will focus on ensuring strong in-store presentation, accurate use of point-of-sale material, and compliance with agreed merchandising standards.

Due to the need to visit multiple retail locations, own transport and a full UK driving licence are essential.

Start date: Monday 20th April 2026.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Completing audits of existing point-of-sale (POS) material to assess current visibility and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Carrying out compliance checks across our existing retail spaces
  • Ensuring the products are displayed neatly, correctly and prominently, in line with agreed merchandising standards
  • Confirming that the correct and approved POS materials are in use within each store
  • Identifying and reporting any issues relating to presentation, stock placement or compliance
  • Building positive working relationships with store staff during visits
  • Accurately reporting findings following store visits, where required
Requirements:
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car (essential)
  • Ability to travel independently between retail locations in Clacton-on-Sea and Frinton-on-Sea
  • Good attention to detail and strong organisation skills
  • Reliable, self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Comfortable following set merchandising and compliance standards
  • Previous merchandising, retail, or field-based experience is desirable but not essential
