About the Role: Our client is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Recruitment Resourcer to join their Human Resources team. This pivotal role will support the recruitment of both white-collar resources and direct project labour across the business. Collaborating closely with the Labour Manager and HR team, the Recruitment Resourcer will be responsible for attracting and engaging high-quality candidates to fulfil current and future labour and support function requirements. Key Responsibilities:

  • Source direct project labour requirements to align with project demands and business needs.
  • Assist the Labour Manager in fulfilling blue-collar recruitment requirements.
  • Proactively headhunt skilled labour and generic roles using various sourcing methods such as online databases, job boards, networking, referrals, and social media.
  • Build and maintain talent pools of qualified candidates to support ongoing recruitment needs.
  • Create and manage compelling job advertisements across recruitment platforms, job boards, and social media channels.
  • Conduct initial candidate qualification calls to assess availability, experience, qualifications, and salary expectations.
  • Support recruitment campaigns for project mobilisations and high-volume hiring.
  • Maintain regular communication with candidates, ensuring a positive recruitment experience.
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues to facilitate a smooth handover from recruitment to onboarding.
  • Uphold recruitment activities in accordance with company policies and relevant legislation.
  • Foster diversity and inclusion in recruitment practises.

Person Specification:

Technical Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience in recruitment, particularly within construction, engineering, and labour-intensive industries is highly desired.

Qualifications:

  • Educated to GCSE level with grades 4-9 (A-C) in English and Maths, or equivalent.
  • A degree is desirable but not essential.

Competencies / Behaviours:

  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple vacancies concurrently.
  • Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Methodical and detail-oriented work style.
