About the Role
As a Compliance Business Analyst, you will play a vital role in the design, development, and implementation of a refreshed enterprise-wide Policy Framework. Your expertise will help shape a standardized, governed, and technology-enabled policy management model that strengthens the organization's compliance posture across EMEA.
Key Responsibilities
- Policy Landscape Analysis:
- Lead the creation of an enterprise-wide Policy Inventory.
- Conduct Gap Analysis to identify missing, duplicate, or outdated policies.
- Assess regulatory alignment through Compliance Assessment Reports.
- Framework & Design:
- Define a standardized Policy Hierarchy and design a Policy Taxonomy Framework.
- Develop standard Policy Templates for consistency and clarity.
- Draft the Policy Governance Charter with roles and responsibilities.
- Requirements & System Implementation:
- Collaborate with Compliance, Technology, and vendors to define business and functional requirements for the policy management system.
- Support the configuration and migration of policies into the new system.
- Training & Change Support:
- Coordinate training delivery for end users and track completion.
- Engage stakeholders across global and regional teams.
- BAU Readiness:
- Design BAU processes, including workflows for publishing and approvals.
- Establish MI Dashboards for policy lifecycle monitoring.

What You Bring
- 7+ years as a Business Analyst in financial services, ideally within Compliance or Regulatory Change.
- Strong understanding of policy frameworks and governance structures.
- Experience with policy inventories and regulatory alignment reviews.
- Familiarity with UK and EMEA financial regulations (FCA, PRA, etc.).
- Proficiency in process mapping and documentation tools (e.g., Visio, JIRA).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Relevant qualifications (BCS, CBAP, Lean Six Sigma) are a plus!
