Our client is expanding and they’re looking for two driven Business Development Managers, one covering the South and one covering the Midlands, to fuel growth across key Medical and Defence/Security markets. If you’re motivated, proactive, and thrive on the excitement of field-based sales, this could be the perfect next step for you!

Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify, target, and secure new business opportunities.
  • Build, develop, and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Conduct around six customer visits per week, travelling across your region.
  • Attend quarterly team meetings at the HQ on the South Coast.
  • Use your technical design knowledge to create tailored, compelling solutions for OEM customers.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Proven sales experience within the electrical sector.
  • Strong background in selling to OEMs.
  • A solid track record in customer-facing, relationship-led sales.
  • Ambition to grow—this role has clear progression routes for future leaders.
  • Full UK driving licence is essential due to high travel requirements.

Locations

  • South – ideal for candidates based in the South/South East.
  • Midlands – ideal for candidates based in the Midlands.
