My client is seeking to recruit a Solution Architect on an initial 6 month contract for a Financial Services client based in London. It is hybrid and will require 3x days onsite per week.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overseeing architectural standards across the Development Team.
- Create and improve architectural standards for on premise and azure cloud software products, develop cloud migration procedures and guidelines.
- Assist in cloud migration projects, assess readiness and dependencies, optimize for the Cloud.
- Create and review blueprints for software products, provide guidance on improving architecture.
- Coding mission critical parts and performing code reviews.
- Assist on integrating AI technologies to improve existing systems.
Key Skills required:
- Extensive experience working as a software and solutions architect.
- Experience in designing of high-level concepts for software solutions.
- Experience in development of Azure cloud-based as well as on-prem solutions.
- DevOps and SCRUM experience.
- Experience in Cloud migration planning and execution.
- Ability to code in C#.
- Knowledge and experience of Agile methodology.
- Knowledge of Cloud and AI technologies that can be adopted into the workplace.
